Synopsis
Hong Kong, summer 1997. Mi-Août is a young marginal who dropped out of college a few years ago to live on petty theft. He is now a debt collector for a certain Mr. Wing, close to the local triads. The daily life of Mid-August will be turned upside down by two events: the discovery by Jacky, a little mentally handicapped thug whom he has taken under his wing, of two farewell letters left by a young suicide, and his meeting with the pretty Ah Ping with whom he quickly falls in love. But the latter is suffering from an incurable disease.
