Synopsis
Jimmy Logan, a jazz trumpeter, drowns his lack of inspiration in alcohol and drugs. One evening, he meets the beautiful Wanda and instantly falls in love with her. However, he does not intervene when she is raped by two men. The next day, on the beach, barely out of his dreamlike vapors, Jimmy comes across the corpse of a drowned woman: Wanda. The musician then leaves for Rio where he meets Rita, a black singer. One evening, Wanda appears, all dressed in fur.
