Synopsis
Before falling asleep forever, the giant Svyatogor gives his sword to pilgrims, ordering them to give it to the valiant who will be worthy to defend his land. As the Tugars pillage the area, the pilgrims hand over the sword to Ilya, a peasant living in Murom who has paralyzed legs. Thanks to a magic potion, Ilya regains her strength and goes to fight against the invader who kidnapped his wife Vassilissa. He will have to face a thousand dangers to become the valiant who deserves glory and immortality.
