Synopsis
Alexandre Gordy, famous playwright, entrusts the leading role of his next play to Catherine Miller, singer of Music Hall. Determined to seduce her, he invites her to his villa on the Côte d'Azur to prepare the play. There she meets Jacques Merval, Alexandre's assistant, who is in fact the "nigger" of the successful author. When the latter falls madly in love with Catherine, a fight begins between the two men to win the heart of the young woman.
