Synopsis
During the Civil War, Robert Jordan came to Spain to fight for the Republic. He is in charge of blowing up a bridge guarded by the fascists. Driven to the mountains, he meets a small group of Republicans who will help him in his mission. Chief Pablo is not very combative and it is his wife Pilar who takes command. The American also meets a young girl taken in by Pilar, Maria. Between the two beings caught up in the passions of History, a love as brief as it is luminous will be born.
