Synopsis
Young girls mysteriously disappear. Adrienne, a friend of one of them, allows herself to be convinced by the police to serve as bait. She then thinks of discovering a serious lead and is hired as a servant in the house where the heart of the enigma resides. During her investigation, she meets a man she falls in love with. This one, suspected, is arrested and sentenced to death. But Adrienne is not convinced of her guilt and continues her investigation.
