Synopsis
- War of the Worlds (1953)
A huge meteorite falls on California. Clayton Forrester, a scientist vacationing at Pine Summit, gets an emergency call. The physicist refutes the theory of the natural phenomenon because the radioactivity emitted is too strong. He presumes that it is a spacecraft, probably originating from the planet Mars. The days that followed proved Forrester right. Other similar objects are falling all over the Earth. Soon, panic sets in and millions of people take to the roads to flee in total chaos. Washington realizes that this invasion could mean the extinction of the human race and decides to prepare an attack with the atomic bomb...
